Visiting Paris is always a great idea, and staying in an apartment like this makes it even better. It’s on the ground floor of a quiet building in the 19th arrondissement, in a family-friendly neighbourhood. You’ll be slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions, but it’s as easy as can be to see the sights – there’s a Metro station a few minutes away. Contemporary and cool, the apartment is a comfortable base for a city break, though guests five and six will sleep on a sofa bed in the open-plan living and dining space.

About Canal Saint Martin - Oberkampf
Canal Saint Martin is to Paris what Williamsburg once was to New York or Shoreditch was to London. This part of town still retains a certain grittiness that has been largely lost from the abovementioned counterparts - gentrification is undoubtedly on its way but the area still feels authentic and edgy so get there before this changes! You'll be rubbing shoulders with Paris's hippest young things, smoking and drinking outside...
