Staying at this apartment in the middle of the medieval village of Lourmarin means life as a local – bread from the bakery, drinks on the terrace, and afternoons wandering the market and local art galleries. Earthy tones and bright colours fill the space, making it a lovely place to return to after a day exploring the Luberon. And while the entire Luberon region is worth exploring, you may find it hard to leave Lourmarin – known as one of the prettiest villages in the region, it has inspired artists for centuries and still feels like a step back in time.
