This penthouse is truly one-of-a-kind – right in the middle of Rome, with two separate terraces, it’s a truly rare sight in the Eternal City. The first is an extension of the living room – an ‘air-conditioned pergola’, so you can enjoy it in every season. Access the second terrace from the spiral staircase nearby, where you can relax on sun loungers and watch the sun set behind the surrounding rooftops. It’s not fully accessible by the building’s lift, and one guest will need to sleep on a sofa bed, but these are small prices to pay for the apartment’s benefits – including its location, just a few minutes away from the Pantheon.

Home truths
This home is on the fourth floor – you can get the lift to the third floor, however you'll need to climb one last flight of stairs to reach the front door. It may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.
At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the second bedroom.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
Parking in Rome can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

About Pantheon
Pantheon is usually thronged with architectural and religious pilgrims, all on the hunt for the church. This fascination, which comes both from sheer wonder, and also a more complex response to a temple that has been dedicated to a variety of creeds, has understandably packed the surrounding streets with sellers of tat and bad ice cream. This is one of Rome's loudest areas, with the restaurants and bars staying open...
