With the Vatican on the doorstep and lots to see and do nearby, this apartment makes a great base for sightseers. It's close to the heart of the action, but set on a quiet residential street, so you truly get the best of both worlds. There are public transport lines right outside the door, plus you'll have your pick of local bars and restaurants to wine and dine at. That said, you could easily opt to stay in and make yourself at home here. The balcony, which offers glimpses of St. Peter's Dome, is a nice touch, and the living room sofa bed is a great add-on for those travelling with the little ones in tow.
