With Paddington Station, Hyde Park and Notting Hill all within strolling distance, this apartment couldn't be better placed for exploring London. The space itself is bright and modern, split over two floors, with an open-plan kitchen and dining space, plus a little terrace connecting to one of the bedrooms upstairs. If we're being picky, the living area isn't the largest for a group of eight, but let's be honest – with so much on your doorstep, you're likely to spending much time indoors.

About Mile End
Popular with people who commute to work in the City of London, Mile End is a neighbourhood experiencing increasing interest. Steeped in history, the area features a mix of architecture, ranging from eighteenth-century terraced houses to converted warehouses and post-war tower blocks. As this is a residential area in East London, it's best if you don't mind the peace and quiet. Though as you're on the central line, you can be in Oxford Circus in less than twenty minutes, which is pretty ideal if you're not too fussed about being in the heart of the action.
