Location is everything in Rome, and this apartment doesn’t disappoint. The Colosseum and Piazza Venezia are just a short stroll away, and there are two metro stops close by so you can zip across the rest of the city. Inside, the living area is cosy and the kitchen has what you need for quick meals, though with so many trattorias nearby, dining out is a must. It’s best suited to six, or eight at a push – ten will feel cramped, with four sleeping on sofa beds. Even so, with Rome on your doorstep, it’s a great base.

Home truths
At full occupancy, four guests will sleep on two sofa beds – one in the living room and one in the main bedroom.
Though there's enough bed space for ten people here, we think it might feel a little cramped. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of six to eight.
Parking in Rome can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. Teatro dell'Opera Metro stop and Cavour metro station are all less than ten minutes away on foot.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.

About Monti
It's a truth universally acknowledged that in every city, there is a district just waiting to be described as expressing the spirit of the old Soho. In Rome, Monti is that place, and the connection is a fair one - although what Monti lacks in advertising agencies and mustachioed tech bros, it makes up for in creative enclaves, smoky bars and delicious places to eat. Nestled right in the heart...
