Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
If you're after a fuss-free stay in a stellar location, this is it. With the Gran Vía right on your doorstep, this apartment is central as can be. Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and other landmarks are within walking distance. Plus, the area is teeming with places to grab a bite or a drink – ideal as the kitchen back home is on the smaller side. It's not the biggest apartment, but it has everything you need for a city break, including a desk for remote working and a shared rooftop terrace with city views. There's also a sofa bed for two guests, though we think it's better suited to solo travellers and couples.

Home truths
At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area. That said, we think this home is best for two people.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob and a microwave. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
You'll have access to the rooftop terrace here. It's shared with the building's other residents.
Parking isn't provided, but you won't need a car in Madrid. Instead of driving, we suggest exploring on foot or taking advantage of the nearby metro station.
Please note that this home is not suitable for groups of young people.

About Puerta del Sol
Puerta del Sol is the epicentre of the city and home to Madrid’s most famous meeting point – ‘Oso y El Madroño’, the bear with the strawberry tree. The central square of this neighbourhood is quite literally where all the roads in the Iberian peninsula lead to, which means it’s really hard to get lost if this is where you want to go. This area is popular both day and night, with buskers, natives, and tourists snapping photos of some of Madrid’s most iconic sights.
