Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Just 200 metres from Florence's historic centre, this peach-hued villa feels more like a country home than city retreat, with its shuttered windows and sprawling gardens. Inside, it has a rustic, homely feel, with exposed wooden beams and terracotta-tiled floors. The kitchen might feel a little compact if you're cooking for a crowd, but the covered patio makes a lovely spot for dining alfresco, overlooking the lawn. It's a quieter corner of the city, free from the tourist crowds yet still very walkable – the Ponte Vecchio is just 1.5 kilometres away, while a twenty-five minute stroll brings you to Florence Central Station.
