Tucked along a quiet pedestrian lane in the heart of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, this home occupies a former fourteenth-century presbytery with a number of original architectural features still intact. The accommodation is arranged across two connected apartments, linked internally by a stone spiral staircase, making it well suited to larger groups travelling together. Stone archways, exposed timber beams, and historic details throughout offer a sense of the building's past, while a rooftop terrace provides views across the town's rooftops, church spires, and surrounding countryside. Cafés, wine shops, boutiques, and the weekly market are all within easy walking distance.

Home truths
This home spans two interconnected apartments linked by a stone spiral staircase. The ground-floor apartment has step-free street access, while the upper apartment is accessed via two flights of stairs.
Air conditioning is fully ducted in the penthouse apartment. In the ground-floor apartment, it covers the main living areas only – the bedrooms have fans rather than air conditioning units, so bear that in mind if you're visiting in the height of summer.
There are two dedicated parking spaces in a secure lot around 200 metres away – handy if you're driving in. A free public car park is also available roughly 300 metres from the home. Note that street parking is restricted on Wednesday mornings from 6am to 3pm when the weekly market takes over.
The centre of Saint-Rémy is very walkable – restaurants, shops, and the market are all on your doorstep, so you may not need a car at all once you've arrived.
