If you’re after a central Parisian bolthole, locations don’t get much better than this. Step outside and you’re straight into the buzz of the Sentier district, with sightseeing icons like the Louvre, Les Halles and the Palais Royal all within easy strolling distance. Back at the apartment, we’re into the designer interiors, though the layout is a little quirky. Alongside the main double bedroom, there’s a mezzanine sleeping two, plus a sofa bed in the living area below. It works well for a small family or close friends sharing, but it won’t be for everyone. However, for such an unbeatable second arrondissement location, we think it’s a worthy compromise.
