Set in the lively Sentier district, this first-floor apartment puts you at the heart of one of Paris’s most dynamic neighbourhoods. Once famed for its textile trade, the area now hums with cafes, boutiques and creative workspaces, while the historic Passage du Caire – the city’s oldest covered arcade – sits just around the corner. Sentier and Réaumur–Sébastopol Metro stations are both close by, making it easy to explore further afield. Inside, the layout is sociable and well-suited to groups, though two bedrooms share direct access to one bathroom, so it works best for guests comfortable with close quarters.

Home truths

  • This apartment is located on the first floor with no lift – it might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.

  • The lead guest must be at least 25 years old to check in.

  • At full capacity, the home sleeps an additional two guests on the double sofa bed in the lounge, however this might feel a little cramped for all but the closest groups. • If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.

  • There is only air-conditioning in the main living space; the bedrooms do not have air-conditioning.

Parisians particularly like the area for one of its main streets, the rue Montorgueil. Greengrocers,...
