Getting around London couldn't be easier with a stay at this apartment. Halfway between Euston Station and King's Cross, excellent transport links are just a stone's throw away. You can also walk to plenty of restaurants, bars, and landmarks like the British Museum. Back home, the all-in-one layout makes settling in easy. It's a studio, so space is at a premium – especially in the kitchenette – but it has all the essentials, including a shared laundry room. We think it's a practical, well-located base for a couple or digital nomad planning to spend most of their time out and about.

Home truths
This apartment is on the second floor and the building doesn't have a lift. It's only accessible by stairs – it may not suit those with limited mobility or heavy luggage.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot upon request.
There isn't a lot of natural light here.
You'll have access to a shared laundry room with washing machines and dryers.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
You may occasionally hear the faint sounds of the underground trains passing below.
Please note that construction is taking place at the neighbouring property, and scaffolding is currently set up along the exterior of the building.

About Somers Town
Wedged between Euston, King's Cross St Pancras and Camden Town, Somers Town is a rare pocket of central London that has managed to retain a genuinely authentic, unpretentious community feel to it. Many Londoners won't even have heard of it but it's a great base if you want to stay in central London without a huge pricetag and there are some great old boozers (The Cock Tavern is our favourite) whose decor and clientele haven't changed a jot for decades. Given its location, it's incredible how few tourists you'll find in these secret back street pubs.
