Stunning views, large decks, and plenty to keep everyone entertained – this Lake Tahoe home delivers on all fronts. Multiple terraces show off the lakeside scenery, making them ideal for outdoor dining or stargazing. The private hot tub has starlit soaks covered, or spend winter evenings curled up by the two fireplaces. Another favourite is the games room, complete with a pool table, foosball, and a wet bar for fun-filled nights at home. Local guide
About Carnelian Bay
On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
