A stay here is all about balance – ski mornings, lake afternoons, and cosy evenings by the fire. Set within a serene mountain community, this home feels refined without being showy. Reclaimed wood and warm finishes give it character, while floor-to-ceiling windows let the Sierra light flood the space. The main floor is built for gathering: a chef’s kitchen for proper cooking, a formal dining area for long suppers, and a generous living room anchored by the fireplace. Bedrooms are thoughtfully spread across two levels, each with its own ensuite, offering comfort and privacy. Upstairs, a second lounge and deck provide extra space to unwind. With downtown Truckee, Northstar, Palisades and Lake Tahoe just minutes away, it’s a polished, well-located base for year-round Tahoe adventures.

About Truckee
On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
