This traditional trulli home perfectly evokes the rural attractions of Apulia's Itria Valley. At the centre of the home, an immense olive tree provides shade for gatherings on the patio, and from the saltwater swimming pool, you can admire equally historic olive groves. The trulli's curved stone walls naturally keep the interiors cool (and make for ultra-cosy sleeping alcoves), but the underfloor heating is a modern luxury that you'll appreciate on cooler evenings. Surrounded by acres of private estate, this home is a perfect country escape – but it's just a short drive to the historic towns of Ceglie Messapica and Ostuni for helpings of local culture and cuisine.
