Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Tucked inside a building that has stood since 1687, this apartment is Copenhagen at its best. Entry is through a private communal courtyard that sets the scene perfectly. The vaulted living room and characterful kitchen carry the weight of their history without feeling stuffy, thanks to a distinctive mix of Scandinavian craft and bolder Eastern and African influences. Location-wise, the National Museum is a three-minute walk, Tivoli Gardens five, and Copenhagen City Hall just four – so the whole city centre is yours to explore on foot.

Home truths
The second bedroom can be configured as either two single beds or one double, depending on what works best for you. Just let your host know in advance which setup you'd prefer.
You'll need to climb two flights of stairs to reach the apartment – there's no lift, and the stairs are steep. If you're arriving with heavy luggage or have any mobility concerns, this is something to keep in mind.
The nearby Copenhagen City Hall bells chime every fifteen minutes until midnight. It's easy to tune out for most guests, but worth bearing in mind if you or anyone in your group is a light sleeper.
