Right on Piazza Santa Maria Liberatrice, this top-floor apartment drops you into the heart of Testaccio – one of Rome’s most characterful neighbourhoods. Downstairs you’ll find busy cafés, traditional bakeries and the lively Mercato di Testaccio, while the historic centre is an easy bus ride away. Back at the apartment, natural light fills the rooms and there are open views across the rooftops. The standout feature is the enclosed loggia terrace – a rare find in the city – where you can sit with a coffee or glass of wine while watching local life unfold below. A relaxed Roman base with plenty of personality.

About Testaccio
Testaccio is built on food, or rather, food containers. Founded in first century BC as a river port, it was where Rome's supplies of olive oil, grain and wine arrived into the city. Everything was transported in terracotta amphorae, which were smashed on arrival and discarded. Centuries of this practice created a vast mound of terracotta fragments – the Monte dei Cocci – which has become the district's defining feature....
