Set above Malibu Lake, this hillside home trades beach crowds for oak-dotted mountains and wide-open views. Towering windows frame the Santa Monica Mountains, with the same outlook stretching from the bedrooms and across the pool. Wake up and step straight out into the garden for a dip, then settle in for golden hour or stargazing around the fire pit. You can walk straight into the surrounding parkland (the old MAS*H filming site is nearby) or drive twenty minutes to Malibu’s beaches, vineyards, and iconic restaurants. Los Angeles is a short drive away, but it feels a world apart.

The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
There are steps leading up to the front door here, and there are several floors. It might not be the best option for young children or those with reduced mobility.
