Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Situated in Islington, this apartment is in a great spot for exploring a cool corner of London. There are plenty of pubs, coffee shops, and restaurants right on the doorstep, along with independent shops and bustling markets. And public transport makes it easy to explore further afield, with Highbury & Islington station a short walk away. With space for a solo traveller or couple, this is a great pick for a city break. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you could find it a tad noisy at times. But we think being part of the hustle and bustle is one of the perks of staying here.

Local guide
About Canonbury
Canonbury is one of the most friendly and unpretentious pockets of Islington, packed full of gorgeous period houses, independent cafes and antique shops. Extremely well connected transport-wise by the Victoria Line from Highbury and Islington station, it works well as a base to explore both Central London and more villagey areas like Stoke Newington further to the East. You'll be rubbing shoulders with trendy media types and affluent young families and working out how to move here long-term yourself.

Check what's on at Union Chapel
This gothic revival church is a live event space, working church and a homeless drop-in centre. If there are no events during your stay, this stunning 19th century chapel is still worth a look.

Savour the perfect brunch at Sunday Cafe & Restaurant
This cosy café is a local favourite for what many might call the epitome of brunch. Expect plates stacked high with colourful fresh goodness and queues at the weekend, but it's well worth the wait.

Indulge at Udderlicious
This little venue makes home-made Ice cream on the premises, a cheery pastel-painted café hung with retro bunting. Try their specials.

Indulge in Pizza at Zia Lucia
Zia Lucia is extremely popular - we would recommend going at lunch time if you want to ensure you get a table. Making no compromise on the quality of the pizza, the oven here is from Naples.

Pet the animals at Freightliners Farm
Nestled in a serene corner of Islington, Freightliners Farm offers a delightful farm experience right in the heart of the city. With adorable animals, lush gardens, and friendly staff, it's a five-star day out for the whole family.
