The villa is built upside-down – living spaces sit above the bedrooms, so you'll move between floors when heading to bed or coming up for meals and drinks.
The gym annexe is reached via twenty-seven steps through the garden – worth knowing if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free – just request them in advance and bring your own linen.
The use of the barbecue may be restricted or prohibited during the main summer season to comply with local regulations.
