A classic stilted beach house on the Port Aransas wetlands, this pastel coastal retreat is built for groups who want to be properly outside. The covered lower patio – strung with evening lighting, anchored by a snack bar and picnic table, with cornhole and ladder ball at the ready – makes it easy to spend the whole evening without going in. Up on the balcony, sunset views stretch over the wetlands, and Spoonbills and Egrets are regular visitors. The beach is a ten-minute drive when you're ready for it.

Home truths
The beach is a ten-minute drive away rather than within walking distance, so you'll want access to a car during your stay. The driveway fits four cars, and boat parking is also available on site.
This home is not accessible by golf cart, and golf carts cannot be delivered or rented here – so factor that in when planning how you'll get around Port Aransas.
One bedroom has a double-over-double bunk bed, with a pull-out trundle underneath. We think this room is best for children.
The lead guest must be at least 21 years old.

Port Aransas is an active coastal town and construction can crop up in the area at any time – your host can't guarantee you won't hear or see building work nearby during your visit.
