Tucked into a quiet loop in Port Aransas, this house sits within a neighbourhood of wetlands and wildlife – birdwatchers and families with young children will both find plenty to like. The shared community pool is just steps away, and balconies overlooking both it and the central pond make for an easy place to decompress. Evenings work well here too, with a covered patio and barbecue for alfresco dinners. The Texas Gulf Coast's warm waters and shoreline are close enough that a beach day requires very little planning.
