A private pool sits at the heart of this Port Aransas house – sun loungers and a spacious patio are made for long afternoons in the Texas sun, and come evening, the illuminated water and shaded picnic area make it easy to stay outside well past dinner. The upper balcony looks down over it all, catching the last of the sunset. Groups will appreciate the two separate entrances and the converted garage game room for when the day winds down. The beach is a ten-minute walk from this quiet residential street just off Eleventh Street and Ave G.

The two floors of this villa are not connected internally, so you'll step outside each time you move between them. It's a great setup for groups wanting their own space, but worth bearing in mind if you're travelling with young children or expect to move between levels frequently.
If you're planning to drive onto the beach, you'll need a beach parking permit. You can pick one up at convenience stores on the island or at beach rental places, subject to availability.
