Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
This characterful farmhouse is tucked away in the Tuscan hills, making it a serene spot for a holiday. Yet it’s just a fifteen-minute drive from the historic city of Lucca, so you won’t have to go far for a delightful day out. Like any good villa, it has a sunny swimming pool surrounded by lush greenery, along with a scenic terrace for breakfast and barbecues. And while some might find the rooms a little dated, we think the typically Tuscan styling adds to this home’s charm. After wandering Lucca’s Medieval walls, plan a trip to Pisa (a twenty-five-minute drive) to marvel at its famous leaning tower.

Home truths
There's air conditioning in five of the bedrooms here – one of the single bedrooms doesn't have it.
The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
The swimming pool is only available for use between 15th May and 30th September.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. The final stretch of road leading to the house is narrow and winding, so we recommend a medium-sized vehicle rather than a large van.

There’s a buzzy nightlife scene centred around cool enotecas and craft beer bars. On Via Fillungo, you’ll find some of Lucca’s finest boutiques, with high-end...
