Directly on the beach, there won't be any arguments over pool or beach days here. This earthy villa is a minimalist retreat in the laid-back town of Alykes, away from the crowds of Zakynthos. Days here are how you'd imagine island life – morning coffee on the terrace, long afternoons in the pool or sea, evenings at the local taverna watching the sun drop into the Ionian. There's an outdoor shower too, so you needn't go inside if you don't want to. The quieter north coast of the island is within easy reach too –though with this much on your doorstep, you might never bother.
