Etna is never far from view at this restored Sicilian villa – whether you're swimming lengths in the saltwater pool or soaking in the main bedroom's bathtub with the volcano framed in the window above you. The villa and its separate guesthouse together comfortably sleep a crowd, with multiple living areas, en-suite bedrooms, and a dining room that seats a dozen for long, unhurried lunches. A barbecue terrace and shaded veranda mean evenings can stretch outdoors too. Taormina is an 18-kilometre drive, and the ancient Greek theatre at Teatro Antico Taormina – with Etna and the Ionian Sea as its backdrop – is just twenty-five minutes away.

Four of the bedrooms can be set up with either two single beds or one super-king bed, so sleeping arrangements are flexible. Let your host know your preference during booking.
One bedroom is on the mezzanine level, so privacy may be limited.
You'll need a car to get around here. The nearest beaches, towns, and attractions – including Taormina, Etna, and the Alcantara Gorges – all require a drive. Private parking is provided.
