The apartment itself spans two floors, with a mezzanine bedroom that feels removed from the living space below. Place de la République is a fifteen-minute walk and Canal Saint-Martin's waterside paths are close enough to make an easy evening wander.

Home truths
The building is currently undergoing exterior renovation work during the day, which may mean scaffolding and some noise from outside. The balcony is also not accessible during this period.
Two of the three bedrooms are on the upper mezzanine level, reached by an internal staircase. If you're travelling with guests who have mobility considerations, it's worth keeping in mind that those rooms involve a climb.
As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
The third bedroom is on the mezzanine level and semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited.
