Vetted by our experts
The feeling of a family home is hard to replicate on holiday, almost by definition. Even a place that has the right sleeping arrangements usually seems to be lacking something unquantifiable. As soon as we arrived at Fuchsia, we felt its inner warmth (and not just from the crackling stove). It’s quirky and individual – a far cry from more hotel-like apartments – but this sense of fun is never forced. And everything’s been thought of – there’s plenty of food in the fridge, even a pair of bikes that you can use, as you wish.
We promise expert-vetted homes, total transparency and exceptional service.

About Testaccio
Testaccio is built on food, or rather, food containers. Founded in first century BC as a river port, it was where Rome's supplies of olive oil, grain and wine arrived into the city. Everything was transported in terracotta amphorae, which were smashed on arrival and discarded. Centuries of this practice created a vast mound of terracotta fragments – the Monte dei Cocci – which has become the district's defining feature....
