Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Nestled in the quiet hamlet of Water Yeat, this house sits within a short walk of the southern shores of Coniston Water. There are views across the countryside rolling from the private patio, while the living and dining space offer real character, as well as a log-burning stove – setting the tone for cosy evenings at home. And with two en-suite bedrooms and a welcome bottle of wine, this is a well-considered base for slow days in the fells.

About The Lake District
Poets and novelists have often escaped to the Lake District for a spot of inspiration. Famously, Wordsworth pondered about daffodils and clouds during his time here. The undulating hills are tracked with drystone walls while sheep graze, and farmsteads enjoy untouched beauty for miles around. England’s biggest lake, Windermere, cuts through a valley, sleek as glass and hosts a litany of cosy-pub-filled towns and water sports venues along its shores....
