Set in the centre of Bibury and alongside the historic Arlington Mill, this cosy cottage puts you steps from the famous Arlington Row, the river and village pubs. There's even a trout farm next door if you’re feeling ambitious about dinner. Inside, it’s classic Cotswolds – exposed stone, wooden beams and a wood-burning stove – arranged over three floors. There’s a small courtyard out back and a bench by the front door overlooking the mill stream. Bourton-on-the-Water (often called the 'Venice of the Cotswolds') is an easy drive away for a change of scenery.

Home truths

  • The mill stream is deep and fast-flowing. If you're bringing pets and little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.

  • The wi-fi here doesn't reach all rooms, so you may find yourself without signal in some areas of the home.

  • Your host can provide a travel cot for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.

  • There’s free parking for one car.

  • The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.

  • There is a trout farm next door with open fishing ponds, so you may notice the presence of insects when outside.

  • Initial logs are provided for the fire between 1st October and 31st March.
