Set in the centre of Painswick, this Cotswold house combines a main home with an interlinked cottage, giving groups space to spread out while staying connected. Cafés, pubs and walking routes are all within a few minutes on foot, making it easy to dip in and out of village life. Inside, exposed stone and wooden beams set the tone, with generous spaces for gathering — from the sitting room with its piano and library to a dining room that doubles as a games space. There’s plenty to keep people occupied, with board games, a PlayStation and space to settle in. Bedrooms are spread across different floors and staircases, offering a bit more privacy, though it may not suit everyone.

Home truths
Two bedrooms are located in the interlinked cottage.
At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the single sofa beds in the master suite. These are available upon request. We think these would be best suited to children, rather than adults.
While two of the bathrooms aren't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
There are stairs leading up to some of the bedrooms. It might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
Your host can provide a travel cot for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
