Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Set in a small Cotswold hamlet, this 19th-century cottage comes with bridleways and walking routes straight from the door. The garden has a stream running through it and a decked terrace reached by a small bridge (yes, it’s as idyllic as it sounds). Inside, it sticks to its roots – exposed stone, antiques and a wood-burning stove – with a sociable layout centred around the living and dining space. There’s also a tucked-away study if you need to open a laptop. Upstairs, three bedrooms look out over fields, with sheep and the occasional deer passing by. Golf courses and country pubs are a short drive away, and Cheltenham station is within easy reach if you fancy exploring further afield.

Home truths
Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.
There’s free parking for one large car or two small cars on the driveway. The road leading down to the house from the main road is not suitable for a sports car.
There's a small stream in the garden here. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
The open fireplace located next to the sofas is not in use. The only fireplace permitted for use is the log-burning stove located next to the dining table.
If you wish to use the barbecue, you'll need to provide your own charcoal. The closest supermarket is four miles away.
There is no street lighting. There are outside lights – the switch is to the right of the gate before you enter the front garden.
