We were sold the moment we clapped eyes on the Cotswold-stone facades of this Grade-II listed townhouse in Stow-on-the-Wold. Private front and rear gardens offer sunny spots for alfresco dining throughout the day. But the dining room indoors is just as inviting in the winter months. Well-suited to family stays, two interconnected bedrooms on the top floor work well for those travelling with little ones. Location-wise, there are all the tea rooms and traditional inns you could dream of along the nearby high street. Meanwhile, the bonus private parking makes nipping over to other Cotswolds' gems, like Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway, a breeze.

The two top-floor bedrooms are interconnected. One of these bedrooms has low beams in areas and a pull-out bed, sleeping two guests in total. We think this room is better suited to two children sharing.
This home is set over three levels with staircases, which might not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
