Tucked away in the 3rd arrondissement, this apartment puts Le Marais right on your doorstep. Home to boutiques, cafes, and trendy food spots, this is one of the city's most notable neighbourhoods. Keen to explore? Getting around on foot is easy, or there's a nearby metro if you don't fancy a stroll. The apartment is on the third floor without a lift, but we think it's worth the climb. You can unwind in the stylish living space, while the kitchen has all you need to whip up a bite to eat. With a pair of bedrooms and a sofa bed, there's just enough room for six – though we think a group of four would be more comfortable.

Home truths

  • At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area. The only bathrooms here are en-suite off the bedrooms, so those sleeping on the sofa bed will need access to the bedrooms.

  • While there's enough space here for six people, we think the living space will feel a little tight, particularly as the dining table only seats four. With this in mind, we'd suggest a maximum guest count of four people.

  • This apartment is on the third floor – there isn't a lift, so you'll have to climb stairs to reach it.

  • If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot upon request.
