The indoor sauna, with its views over snow-dusted forest, is reason enough to love this apartment in Châtel – step in after a day on the slopes and let the cold world disappear. Three minutes from the Linga gondola and with direct access to the Portes du Soleil, the skiing credentials are hard to argue with. The apartment is on the second floor with no lift, so you'll be carrying luggage, ski equipment, and shopping up the stairs on arrival and departure.
The village centre of Châtel – with its cafes, shops, and restaurants – is around a ten-minute drive away, so you'll want a car for evenings out or grocery runs. Parking is provided.
