Tucked into a peaceful hamlet near Vaison-la-Romaine, this villa earns its place in the Provençal countryside with a garden that steals the show. Not only does it offer sweeping valley and hill views, but there's a covered alfresco dining terrace, a vine-draped sitting spot, and a heated pool set among tall cypress trees. Inside, an eclectic collection of art gives the rooms some character, and air conditioning in both bedrooms keeps warm summer nights comfortable. Historic towns are easy to reach when the mood strikes.

Home truths
This villa is not suitable for children under 8 years old due to a low wall on the upper-floor balcony.
The villa is arranged over two floors with the main living area, kitchen, and one bedroom on the ground level, and a second living space and twin bedroom on the lower-ground floor.
The twin bedroom on the lower ground floor can be configured as a double on request. Let your host know before you arrive if you'd prefer that setup.
As is common in France, the toilet is separate from one bathroom.
Air conditioning is only available in the two bedrooms.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free – just request them in advance and bring your own linen.
