Fifty metres from Brunelleschi's Dome, this apartment places you at the very centre of Florence's Renaissance heart. Piazza della Signoria is a seven-minute walk, Palazzo Vecchio eight-minutes, and Ponte Vecchio around eleven – a stay here is essentially a masterclass in Italian art history, on foot. Back inside, the living room window frames the Dome directly, and the main bedroom wakes you up to the same view. Three double bedrooms make it a strong pick for groups or families, and air conditioning in every room keeps things comfortable during the warmer months.

Home truths
There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms – the kitchen and living room are not cooled. During summer, the living areas can feel warm, especially during a heatwave.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
The apartment is across from a hospital, so you may hear ambulance sirens at night. The stairwell and street can also be noisy, and early-morning rubbish collection has been noted as loud near one of the bedrooms. This home may not suit light sleepers.
There are two full bathrooms and a third room with a shower only – no toilet or sink.
This host collects tourist tax separately from your booking payment. 7 days before check-in, your host will send you a link to pay the tax.
