This opulent Baroque home is fit for a King – and, who knows, maybe royalty did grace the halls in the 16th century. Much of that history is still visible in the arched ceilings and frescoes, though this palace has had an update too – case in point, a blissful swimming pool and rooftop terrace, where you can admire views of Lecce. Split your time between the elegant living rooms and the tranquil courtyard, before a grand dinner under the chandeliers – note that the kitchen is in keeping with the antique style, which may not be to everyone's taste. Nestled in a peaceful corner of the city, you're just a ten-minute walk from sights like the Roman Amphitheatre.
