Home truths
La Mernaz is a quiet residential pocket of Morzine rather than the village centre – you're a five-minute drive from the main shops, restaurants, and après-ski. If you'd rather not drive each evening, the free ski bus is your best bet.
If you're travelling with a little one, your host can provide a cot. It's worth requesting this in advance to make sure everything is ready for your arrival.
You'll have two covered parking spots in the garage here. A car is handy for reaching the village centre or the Téléphérique de Nyon, both a short drive away.
There's a ski room here equipped with boot heaters, which can also be used for bicycle storage in the summer.
As is common in France, the toilets are separate from some of the bathrooms.
