Step outside this Les Gets apartment, and the Chavannes Express is less than 300 metres away – as close to ski-in convenience as a village centre gets. Back inside, timber-lined walls and crisp bedding make the main bedroom a proper retreat after a day on the Portes du Soleil, with two balconies looking out over the rooftops to the mountains beyond. A private ski locker and indoor garage space keep the practicalities sorted, while the village's trails, markets, and open-air concerts are all a short stroll away when the seasons change.

Home truths
The second bedroom is a compact cabin room with a single bed, best suited to younger children rather than adults. If you're travelling with a family, it works well as a cosy kids' nook.
If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can provide a cot. You'll need to request it in advance.
You'll have one indoor garage parking space included with the apartment – a real bonus given how busy Les Gets gets during ski season.
As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
