Home truths
You're within easy reach of several subway lines, so getting around Manhattan without a car is easy. We recommend leaving the car at home – parking in Gramercy can be both scarce and expensive.
Please note that New York City's heating season runs until the end of May. Beginning around mid-April through the summer, your host will install window air conditioning in the apartment – let them know if you'd like an earlier installation.
The kitchen is compact. While it's well-appointed, we think it's better for light bites – though there are plenty of eateries nearby.
