Yellowstone's west entrance is roughly a forty-five-minute drive along the Gallatin River when you're ready to venture further afield.

We recommend hiring a car for ease of getting around. You're permitted two cars per unit, even though a three-car garage is on site – so if your group is arriving in three vehicles, it's worth planning ahead or checking with your host before arrival.

Ski-in/ski-out access here follows a specific route – you'll ski down to the Cascade lift and navigate the White Otter Access Bridge on the way back. It's worth reading your host's trail directions before your first day on the slopes so the return run feels second nature.
