Set within 62 acres of private gardens, this extraordinary estate has been home to the same family for almost four centuries. Decorated by designer Jeffrey Bilhuber, it pairs historic grandeur with contemporary comfort across a bevvy of characterful bedrooms, reception rooms, a home cinema, and even a fitness area. Days here can be as active or relaxed as you choose, with kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and wildlife-filled walks on your doorstep. A dedicated house manager prepares breakfast each morning, while private chefs and country pursuits can be arranged for a fee. Whether you're planning a family gathering, celebration, or retreat on the Somerset-Dorset border, this is countryside living at its finest.
