Perched above the River Dart in Kingswear, this architect-designed home feels almost suspended over the water. Wake up to river views. Watch ferries drift past from the sofa. Pour a glass of wine and head outside once the sun starts dropping behind the hills. Floor-to-ceiling glass keeps the river front and centre, while the upstairs living space revolves around the scenery. There’s a log burner for cooler evenings and a terrace that’s very hard to leave. Kingswear itself is peaceful, but you’re only minutes from the ferry across to Dartmouth for seafood lunches, waterfront pubs, and marina strolls. The South West Coast Path and hidden coves are also within easy reach when you fancy stretching your legs.
