Perched between Portofino and Cinque Terre, this late 18th-century manor has been carefully restored to blend original character with mid-century Scandinavian pieces. It has something for everyone. An infinity pool overlooks forested peaks, and the terraced gardens – complete with a fruit orchard and a wooden deck – make it easy to spend entire days outdoors. When you're ready to explore, paths connect directly to the nearby village of Castiglione Chiavarese. Further afield, Sestri Levante's postcard-worthy twin bays are around thirty minutes away by car when a beach day beckons, while Genoa, La Spezia, and a string of Liguria's coastal gems are all within an hour's drive.

Home truths
The villa's access path is steep and pedestrian-only, so you won't be able to drive up to the front door. If you have heavy luggage or limited mobility, it's worth bearing this in mind when planning your arrival.
This villa isn't suitable for children aged twelve and under or infants, due to high terraces, multiple staircases, and the pool.
We recommend hiring a car – it's the most practical way to reach the villa and to explore the surrounding Ligurian coast.
This home is spread across three floors with no lift, so you'll need to be comfortable climbing stairs both to reach the entrance and to move between levels.
While some bathrooms aren't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
