Home truths
The home sits on a waterfront bluff, so if you're travelling with children, keep them away from the bluff edge. There's a spacious side yard well away from the drop, which is a safe and generous space for outdoor play.
Whidbey Island sits close to a naval air base, so on some weekday mornings and occasional evenings each month you may hear loud military flight training overhead. The Navy doesn't train on weekends or holidays and usually publishes its schedule a week ahead.
If you're travelling with an infant, note that babies count toward the eight-guest limit.
At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the office.
The lead guest must be at least 21 years old.
