The trail literally begins where the backyard ends – a canal path that drops you straight into northeast Bend's outdoors, whether you're running, cycling, or just unwinding after a day on the mountain. Back on the deck, the hot tub and gas fire pit do most of the heavy lifting, with the yard backing onto open ground for a secluded feel. Inside, this Craftsman house is built for a full group – a fireplace, sliding doors connecting the living room to the deck, and a bunk room that the kids will claim immediately. Downtown Bend is around ten minutes by car, while Mt. Bachelor is roughly forty-five minutes southwest.
