The villa sits in a rural hillside setting, so you'll want a car to reach local wineries, Lake Poway, and San Diego. There's space for up to seven cars on site.
This is a rural area, so encounters with wildlife and insects – indoors and outdoors – are a possibility. If you're travelling with children or pets, keep a close eye on them especially after dark.
The swimming pool isn't fenced. Little ones will need to be supervised at all times.
