Home truths
There is no air conditioning here, so if you're visiting in summer, the mountain elevation will be your main source of relief on warmer days.
Parking is limited to one garage space on site, and street parking off the premises is not permitted. If you're travelling as a group, we recommend coordinating to arrive in a single vehicle.
The outdoor seating and balcony furniture are seasonal and only available from late May through early September, so if you're visiting outside those months, the outdoor spaces may not be set up for use.
While the home can sleep up to ten people, the maximum occupancy is four guests.
One of the bedrooms has two single-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to six people – we think it might be best suited to children.

About Incline Village
On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
