Tucked into the trees of Arch Cape, this house puts the Pacific just a few minutes' walk down a quaint path – close enough to hear the waves, quiet enough to feel a world away. Evenings take shape around the wood-burning fireplace inside or in the fenced backyard, where a hot tub and outdoor dining area make it easy to linger. A bedroom opens directly onto the deck for a proper hit of coastal air each morning. Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock are around 5 miles away when you want a change of scene.

There is no air conditioning here, so summer visits can get warm – the skylights and coastal breezes help, but bear that in mind when planning a warm-weather trip.
Bedroom three has a double bed and an additional pull-out single bed, sleeping up to three people in total. It has no door, so sound from the rest of the home travels freely into that sleeping area – worth factoring in if light sleepers are using it.
The fireplace has no firewood provided, so you'll need to bring your own or pick up compressed logs before you arrive.
